With the aim of promoting enjoyment and comprehensive health for the elderly,
the Lucy Amado Foundation (Fundala) launched its social program “Grandparents in the Family” in the Zulia region, with a recreational activity at the “La Mano de Dios” Home for the Elderly Foundation.
The president of Fundala and international speaker, Lucy Amado, led the activity, gifting various personal hygiene products (such as diapers and wet wipes). The elderly residents happily danced and enjoyed a joyful Christmas gathering during Fundala’s visit.

In 2019, the Lucy Amado Foundation, through its program “Grandparents in the Family,” began working continuously with approximately 40 homeless elderly individuals (aged between 60 and 90), in collaboration with the Basilica of Our Lady of Chiquinquirá. The foundation has been providing breakfast every weekend, offering support to improve their situation while also sharing quality time with them
